When: Monday, June 23 through Saturday June 28.

Where:  Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, St. George, Utah

Cost:  Tuition:  $325.00, includes BGCF T-shirt. 

Housing:  Dormitory housing is available at a cost of $12/night per person, double occupancy.   Single rooms with shared baths are available at a rate of $22/night per room.   Please let us know immediately if you will be staying in the dorm.

Meals: Meals are your own responsibility, but may be purchased on campus or at local restaurants.  You may bring coolers for your room.

Registration:  Please fill out the online form and send $50 deposit by mail to complete registration.   

Deposit:  $50.00.  Applied to tuition.  Deposit is non-refundable except in extreme cases.   Tuition is due upon arrival at the Festival

Financial Aid:  A limited amount of need based financial aid is available.  Contact Tracie for further information.   If finances are preventing you from participating, please contact us, we'd rather work with you than turn people away!

Audition tape:  Tapes are required for new applicants.  They are used only for placement in appropriate ensembles and to help us assign appropriate music to each participant.  What should be included on audition tapes is as follows:
                      
Intermediate Level: 
1.  2 octave B-flat major scale, four eighth slurred, quarter note=60.
2.  Two contrasting short excerpts from solo literature, not more than 2 minutes each, that demonstrate your current playing ability.

Advanced Level:
1.  3 octave D melodic minor scale, four eighth notes slurred, quarter note=60.
2.  Two contrasting short excerpts from solo literature, not more than 2 minutes each, that demonstrate your current playing ability.


Masterclasses: If you would like to be considered to perform in a masterclass with Ryan Selberg, mark the appropriate box on the registration form and please indicate what selection you would like to perform.   You will be notified at the Festival if you are performing.

Concerts:  All BGCF concerts are open to the public.  In 2008, there will be three concerts.  A recital by guest artist Ryan Selberg, a faculty recital by all of the faculty members, and the Festival Concert at the end of the week in which all participants and staff perform works that have been studied during the week.
